The KNIPEX 200MM CoBolt Compact Bolt Cutters (71 01 200) are short-head, high-leverage bolt cutters designed to cut through wire rope, padlock shanks, chain links, and hardened wire in a compact 200mm format that is far more manoeuvrable in confined spaces than traditional long-handled bolt cutters. The CoBolt’s patented compound joint transmits exceptional cutting force despite the short handles.
The induction-hardened cutting edges in special alloy steel cut through materials up to 5mm diameter (6.5mm for softer materials) that would resist standard diagonal cutters. The compact size allows the CoBolt to be carried in a standard tool bag or pouch without the weight and bulk of traditional bolt cutters.
For electricians who need to occasionally cut padlocks during emergency access, cut through cable armour wires, or cut hardened security seals on metering equipment, the CoBolt provides the required cutting power in an instrument small enough to carry routinely on site.
