The KNIPEX 1000V Alligator 300mm (88 07 300) extends the live-working Alligator range to the larger 300mm format, providing greater jaw capacity and mechanical advantage for the larger cable glands, conduit fittings, and hex fasteners encountered in main distribution and industrial electrical systems — all in an instrument certified for live-working up to 1000V AC.
Tested at 10,000V individually to DIN EN IEC 60900, the 88 07 300 meets the full requirements of international live-working standards. The VDE multi-component insulated handles provide both electrical protection and ergonomic comfort for the sustained, high-torque work typical of main distribution live-working maintenance tasks.
The interlocking jaw mechanism ensures the jaw width remains stable under load — critical when applying significant torque to large fasteners in energised environments where any slip could cause contact with live conductors.
