The KNIPEX Angled Electricians’ Scissors/Shears 160mm (95 05 20) are compact angled shears designed for cable and wire cutting in confined spaces where straight-jaw scissors or standard pliers cannot be directed accurately at the cut point. The angled jaw geometry allows the operator to direct the cutting point into panel interiors, around cable bundles, and into tight enclosure corners where direct-axis cutting is not possible.
The precision-ground hardened blades are calibrated for cable cutting on copper and aluminium conductors in standard installation sizes. The compact 160mm format and multi-component ergonomic handles make these shears comfortable for sustained cutting tasks in demanding working positions.
The angled format gives these shears a unique capability that makes them particularly useful for tail-trimming operations inside distribution boards and for cutting cables in the tight confines of wiring centres and consumer units where direct access to the cut point is restricted by adjacent components.
