Description

The DT5541-QZ is a DEWALT EXTREME 2 HSS-G (high-speed steel, ground) 3.3mm x 65mm (36mm working length) metal drill bit, supplied in a pack of 10. The EXTREME 2 design delivers up to 4x faster drilling than standard HSS-R bits, with a gold ferrous oxide (black and gold) coating that dissipates heat quickly for longer bit life and a no-walk tip that starts drilling on contact, eliminating walking for clean, accurate holes.
A strong central core with tapered web greatly reduces the risk of breakage, and the no-slip 3-flat shank (on sizes 5mm and above) eliminates slipping in the drill chuck for maximum power transmission. The innovative flute geometry provides efficient swarf removal for fast, clean drilling in steel, aluminium, copper, and other metals up to 900 N/mm² tensile strength.
Suitable for portable or stationary drilling of steel, alloyed and non-alloyed metals. Compatible with all standard keyed and keyless drill chucks. 118° tip grinding for accurate hole starting. Supplied in a 10-piece trade pack.
