Description

The Legrand 035980 is a large-format Plexo industrial plastic enclosure rated IP55 and IK07, with external dimensions of 332×262×132mm and a transparent cover for visual inspection of internal components without breaking the IP55 seal. Constructed from grey RAL7035 polypropylene, it is halogen-free and self-extinguishing, conforming to NF EN 60695-2-1 for fire safety. The transparent cover is secured by a quarter-turn latch, and smooth exterior sides allow cable entries at any position via knock-outs or glands.

The spacious interior accommodates a full DIN rail assembly or mounting plate (sold separately), supporting terminal blocks, contactors, relays, and PLC modules in a neat and accessible arrangement. Wall-mounting is available via internal oblong holes or optional wall-mounting lugs. The 035980 is widely used for monitoring panels, small control cabinets, and instrumentation enclosures in manufacturing, process control, and automation applications where component visibility and IP55 protection are both required.
