Description

The Legrand Plexo³ 601982 is a 24-module, two-row surface-mounted weatherproof enclosure providing IP65 dust and water protection together with IK09 impact resistance. Constructed from self-extinguishing reinforced polystyrene rated to withstand incandescent wire at 650°C, it is well suited to outdoor, agricultural, photovoltaic, and industrial applications where robust protection is required. The enclosure measures 432×340×161 mm and provides generous capacity for a full complement of modular circuit breakers, RCDs, and associated equipment across two rows.

Features include a reversible door and enclosure body for flexible installation orientation, a two-position DIN rail to accommodate both modular devices and moulded cases, and 150 mm spacing between rails for efficient cable management. The lockable door handle, sealable cover, and tamper-evident faceplate enhance security against unauthorised interference. Supplied with direct perforation entry glands, PE and N terminal blocks, and pole fillers, the 601982 is designed for rapid, straightforward installation.
