The Legrand Plexo³ 601981 is a 12-module, single-row, surface-mounted distribution enclosure offering robust IP65 and IK09 protection for outdoor and industrial environments. Manufactured from self-extinguishing, impact-resistant reinforced polystyrene capable of withstanding incandescent wire at 650°C, it combines fire safety with physical durability. Measuring 282×340×141 mm, it provides ample space for a full set of 12 modular circuit protection devices, along with PE and N terminal blocks and pole fillers included as standard.

The reversible door and enclosure body allow flexible mounting orientation, while the two-position DIN rail and 150 mm rail spacing support a wide variety of modular and non-modular devices. A lockable handle and tamper-evident design guard against unauthorised access. Supplied complete with direct perforation entry glands, the 601981 is well suited for distribution boards in garages, outbuildings, agricultural buildings, and external meter housings. It complies with EN 60439-3 and is Class II rated, ensuring compatibility with a broad range of electrical installation standards in residential, commercial, and light industrial settings.
