The Steinel IS 240 DUO Infrared motion detector uses intelligent sensor technology and responds to movements and light levels, switching the light on and off automatically after a preselected time. The motion sensor is fitted with 2 infrared detectors placed at an angle which guarantees reliable all-round protection of areas as large as 230m2. This infrared motion sensor has a detection zone of 240° and a reach distance of maximum 12m. The detection zone of this infrared sensor can also be limited as required by using the shrouds provided. Time and twilight threshold of the IS 240 DUO motion detector can be adjusted using the easily accessible control dial. The infrared motion sensor can be wall mounted also on corners with the mount included and is ideal for outdoors and indoors applications for targeted detection of movement in fronts of large buildings and driveways.
