Description

The ESC240 is a 40A DIN rail contactor with two normally open (2NO) poles and a 230V AC control coil, designed for switching higher-current lighting and heating loads. Rated at 40A, it is suitable for larger lighting installations, electric heating systems, and other high-power single-phase loads.
The device occupies 3 DIN rail modules and is designed for use with time switches, photocells, or building management systems in commercial and industrial distribution boards. Its higher current rating compared to the ESC225 makes it appropriate for circuits supplying multiple lighting zones or high-wattage loads.
RoHS compliant and rated for 60,000 switching cycles, the ESC240 integrates into Hager’s modular contactor range and is compatible with standard DIN rail control accessories and 230V AC control sources.
