Description

The ESC226 is a 25A modular DIN rail contactor with two normally closed (2NC) poles and a 230V AC 50Hz control coil. Unlike the ESC225, the normally closed configuration keeps the circuit energised when the coil is de-energised, making it suitable for applications where a fail-safe connected state is required.
The 1-module DIN rail format and 25A contact rating make it appropriate for use in standard distribution boards alongside time switches and control relays. It is well suited to heating or lighting control applications where the circuit should remain active unless an explicit switch-off command is received.
The ESC226 is rated for 60,000 operations, operates on 230V AC, and is RoHS compliant. It is part of Hager’s ESC modular contactor range and is compatible with standard DIN rail accessories.
