Description

The ESC241 is a 40A modular contactor with two normally closed (2NC) poles and a 230V AC control coil. The NC configuration ensures the circuit remains energised in the de-energised state, providing fail-safe operation for applications where load continuity during a control signal loss is required.
The 40A rating and 3-module DIN rail form factor make it suitable for large lighting or heating circuits in commercial or industrial distribution boards. Applications include systems where backup energisation is critical, such as emergency lighting or HVAC control.
RoHS compliant and rated for 60,000 operations, the ESC241 is part of Hager’s modular ESC contactor range and works with standard 230V AC control devices including time switches and building management systems.
