Description

The SPB140D is a single-pole Type 2 Surge Protection Device for TN-C earthing systems, with a continuous operating voltage of 275V, a nominal discharge current of 20kA (8/20µs), and a maximum discharge current of 40kA. It provides protection against transient overvoltages in single-phase TN-C circuits.
Designed for installation at the distribution board incomer on TN-C systems, the SPB140D protects downstream equipment from lightning-induced and switching transients. The voltage protection level (Up) limits energy reaching connected equipment. It conforms to IEC 61643-11 Type 2.
RoHS compliant and halogen-free, the SPB140D operates from -40°C to +80°C and is part of Hager’s SPB fixed SPD range, complementing the 4-pole SPB415D and SPB440D devices for three-phase applications.
