The ABB CA4-01 is a side-mount auxiliary contact block designed to expand the signalling and interlocking capability of ABB A-Line contactors in the A9 to A110 range. It provides one normally closed (N.C.) contact rated at 10 A / 690 V AC, suitable for signalling, interlocking, safety feedback, and alarm circuit applications within motor starter and control panel assemblies. The CA4-01 snaps directly onto the side of compatible ABB contactors without the need for tools, enabling fast and secure expansion of the contactor’s contact complement during panel assembly.
