Description
The ABB ML1-100R is a red pilot light for use with ABB’s M1 and M2 modular operator component systems, rated at 100 V AC for direct connection to 100 V control circuits. The red colour is the internationally recognised standard for indicating a stopped, off, fault, or danger condition, making the ML1-100R an essential component in motor control panels, machine operator interfaces, and process control systems where a clear visual stop or alarm indication is required. It mounts in the standard 22 mm aperture of ABB’s M1/M2 operator system, providing straightforward integration into panel designs.
The ML1-100R complies with IEC 60947-5-1 and is designed to provide reliable, long-life illumination in 100 V control circuit applications. Its compact modular design is compatible with ABB’s M1/M2 contact block and actuator system, enabling the pilot light to be positioned alongside pushbuttons and selector switches within a co-ordinated operator panel layout. The low-energy lamp or LED light source ensures low power consumption and extended maintenance intervals, reducing the operational cost of large panel installations with multiple indication lamps.
This pilot light is widely specified in motor control centres, machine tool panels, HVAC plant control boards, and industrial process panels where red indication is required for stop status, fault conditions, or supply-off confirmation. Panel builders will appreciate its direct compatibility with ABB’s M2 operator system, which allows consistent and professionally styled panel front designs with standardised hole sizes. The ML1-100R is part of ABB’s ML1 pilot light range, available in multiple colours and voltages to support comprehensive, colour-coded status indication systems.
