ABB OT63F3 – 3 Pole Through Door Rotary Switch Disconnector, 63A, DIN Rail Mount

SKU: OT63F3 Category:

Description

The ABB OT63F3 is a 3-pole, 63 A through-door rotary switch disconnector for DIN rail mounting, designed for use as a main or branch circuit isolator in three-phase low-voltage distribution boards and industrial control panels. Part of ABB’s OT series, this device provides safe and lockable manual isolation of three-phase circuits up to 63 A, with a through-door operating mechanism that allows the switch to be operated from outside the panel enclosure without exposing the operator to energised internal components.

The OT63F3 complies with IEC 60947-3 for switch disconnectors and provides full isolation capability at its rated current, making it suitable as the principal isolation device for motor feeders, distribution branch circuits, and equipment supply isolators in panels installed in industrial, agricultural, and commercial premises. The padlockable operating mechanism supports safe lockout/tagout procedures, meeting the safety requirements of EN ISO 13849 and standard electrical safety practices for maintenance isolation of electrical equipment.

Compatible with ABB’s OXP busbar connection system, the OT63F3 can be connected to incoming busbar systems within distribution boards for efficient panel construction. Its 63 A rating makes it appropriate for main distribution board isolators in smaller commercial premises, individual machine supply isolators in industrial plant, and main switch positions in motor control centres feeding multiple motor circuits. Panel builders and electrical contractors will find the OT63F3 a reliable and well-established component for three-phase manual isolation in compliance with IEC and national electrical installation standards.
