Description

The Legrand Plexo³ 601988 is the largest in the Plexo³ range, providing a 72-module capacity across four rows (4×18) in a surface-mounted, weatherproof enclosure rated IP65 and IK09. Built from self-extinguishing reinforced polystyrene with resistance to incandescent wire at 650°C, it is designed for high-capacity outdoor and industrial distribution applications such as agricultural complexes, photovoltaic installations, and commercial premises. Measuring 822×448×161 mm, it provides ample space for a full range of modular protection devices across four wide DIN rails.

PE and N terminal blocks and pole fillers are supplied as standard, along with direct perforation entry glands for neat cable entry. The reversible door and enclosure body enable flexible mounting, and the lockable handle with tamper-evident cover ensures security against unauthorised access. The two-position DIN rail supports both modular products and moulded cases across all four rows. Conforming to EN 60439-3 and Class II rated, the 601988 is a heavy-duty, high-capacity solution for demanding outdoor distribution requirements.
