The DCB183-XJ is a DEWALT 18V XR 2Ah compact lithium-ion battery, providing a lightweight, compact power option for 18V XR tools where weight and size are more important than maximum runtime — ideal for screwdriving, light drilling, and other low-demand applications. The 2Ah format is the lightest and most compact standard 18V XR battery.
The built-in LED fuel gauge provides instant charge status. No memory effect and virtually no self-discharge. Compatible with all DEWALT 18V XR tools and chargers. The fast-charge capability enables the battery to be returned to full charge quickly.
Supplied as a single bare battery without charger. Suitable for use with 18V XR compact tools where a lightweight battery provides improved comfort and manoeuvrability — particularly for overhead or confined-space screwdriving and light assembly work.
