The DCD470N-XJ is a DEWALT 54V XR FLEXVOLT brushless right angle drill for large-diameter drilling through structural timber and core drilling in masonry — DEWALT’s most powerful cordless drill. The brushless motor and FLEXVOLT 54V power deliver the torque required for drilling 400mm cores in concrete and driving large self-feed bits through structural members, all without the limitations of a power cord.
The right-angle format enables drilling in stud bays, floor joists, and locations where a straight drill cannot be positioned. The 5-speed gearbox with automatic speed control selects the appropriate speed for the material and load. PERFORM & PROTECT anti-kickback control detects and responds to sudden rotational stall. Low vibration design reduces operator fatigue during extended drilling operations.
