Description

The DCS579T2-GB is a DEWALT 54V XR FLEXVOLT® 190mm brushless circular saw in rear-handle (worm drive style) configuration, supplied with two 6Ah FLEXVOLT batteries and a charger. The rear-handle format positions the motor in line with the cut, providing a more natural body posture for extended ripping cuts in framing and decking applications — the preferred configuration for structural carpenters in many markets.
The 54V FLEXVOLT brushless motor delivers corded-equivalent performance with deep cutting capacity of 66mm at 90° for full structural timber ripping. The rear-handle grip position provides excellent sightline to the cut line and improved cutting comfort during sustained ripping cuts in framing timber and decking boards.
Supplied with 2x DCB546 6Ah FLEXVOLT batteries, DCB132 dual-port charger, and kit bag. Compatible with 190mm circular saw blades with 30mm bore.
