The DT8942-QZ is a DEWALT 14mm x 460mm (400mm working length) SDS-Plus XLR full head carbide drill bit — the longest standard configuration in the 14mm SDS-Plus XLR range. This extra-long bit is designed for through-wall drilling in thick reinforced concrete and for the deepest M12 anchor and clearance hole applications.
XLR four-cutter full head carbide tip, four-flute helix, and IRON BLAST TECHNOLOGY are all critical at this length to maintain hole quality, debris removal, and bit integrity throughout the 400mm working depth. The tapered core is designed to resist flute breakage under the elevated stresses of extra-long drilling.
