The DW872-GB is a DEWALT 2200W 355mm multi-cutter chop saw for cutting steel, stainless steel, aluminium, and non-ferrous metals using a friction cutting abrasive disc or cold saw blade. The high-power 2200W motor enables rapid cutting of large metal sections — ideal for steel fabrication, pipework cutting, and structural metalwork on site and in workshops.
The quick-clamp vice secures workpieces up to 120mm square for accurate, repeatable cuts. The 45° mitre cutting capability enables angled cuts for structural connections and pipe work. A safety guard and deadman switch provide operational safety. The base provides stable mounting on a workbench or stand.
Compatible with standard 355mm abrasive cutting discs and TCT cold saw blades. Suitable for structural steel fabricators, plumbers, HVAC engineers, and general contractors cutting large-section metal on site and in workshops.
