Description

The CPA684U is a 4-pole, 100A selective (time-delayed) RCCB with a 300mA Type A residual current sensitivity. The selective (S) function introduces a deliberate time delay before tripping, allowing downstream 30mA devices to operate first on minor faults — preventing the entire installation from disconnecting unnecessarily.
As a Type A device, it detects both sinusoidal AC and pulsating DC residual fault currents. The 100A rating makes it appropriate for incomer protection in large commercial or industrial three-phase installations where high-current selective protection is required.
The CPA684U mounts on a standard DIN rail in a 4-module format and is IP20 rated and RoHS compliant. It is designed for three-phase 400V AC networks in commercial and industrial environments with multi-tier RCD protection strategies.
