Description

The NBN163R is a single-pole, 63A MCB with a B-type tripping curve and 10kA/15kA breaking capacity, functionally identical to the NBN163A but fitted with a red toggle/handle instead of the standard black or grey. The red toggle provides a visual indication that this is a main or critical circuit breaker, aiding identification in distribution boards.
Red-toggled MCBs are commonly used as main incomer breakers or to identify circuits supplying critical loads, helping installers and maintenance personnel quickly identify key circuit breakers within a distribution board.
RoHS compliant and part of Hager’s NBN MCB range, the NBN163R is otherwise equivalent to the NBN163A in all technical specifications and accessory compatibility.
