6945X 10.0mm² SWA (Steel Wire Armoured) cable is a 5-core power and control cable manufactured to BS 5467 Table 13. It features a Class 2 stranded plain annealed copper conductor to BS EN 60228, thermosetting XLPE insulation (Type GP8 to BS 7655-1.3), PVC bedding, galvanised steel wire armour for mechanical protection, and a PVC outer sheath rated 600/1000V (Type 9 to BS 7655-4.2). Core colours: blue, brown, black, grey, and green/yellow. Suitable for indoor, outdoor, underground, and direct burial applications, and can be installed on cable tray, in ducting, or embedded in concrete. Commonly used for industrial wiring, mains power distribution, and outdoor power runs where added mechanical protection is required. Sold cut to length, priced per metre.
