6945X 50mm² SWA (Steel Wire Armoured) cable is a 5-core power cable manufactured to BS 5467 standards, used primarily for three-phase electrical applications. It features stranded annealed copper conductors, XLPE insulation, PVC bedding, galvanised steel wire armour for mechanical protection, and a black PVC outer sheath with numbered or coloured cores. Rated 600/1000V. Suitable for carrying power to three-phase machinery and equipment in warehouses, factories, and industrial settings, and can be used for underground installations or attached to structures using CC16/CC14 cable cleats. Requires a BW32/BW40 gland for indoor use or CW32/CW40 gland for outdoor use, depending on supplier. Also suitable for mains power distribution, direct burial, cable ducting, and installation on cable tray or in free air. Sold cut to length, priced per metre.
