6943X 16mm² SWA (Steel Wire Armoured) cable is a 3-core power and control cable manufactured to BS 5467 and IEC 60502. It features Class 2 stranded plain copper conductors to BS EN 60228:2005, XLPE insulation, PVC bedding, galvanised steel wire armour for mechanical protection, and a black PVC outer sheath. Core identification: brown, black, and grey. Voltage rating is 0.6/1kV (600/1000V). Overall cable diameter is approximately 19.4–23.1mm, weighing around 1035kg/km, with a minimum bending radius of 12x diameter; suits a 25mm gland (BW25 indoor / CW25 outdoor) with a size 9 (C9) cable cleat.
