The KNIPEX 1000V 160mm Diagonal Cutters (7005160) are VDE-insulated diagonal side cutters certified for working on live systems up to 1000V AC. They are designed for clean, precise cutting of copper and similar wires during installation, maintenance and fault-finding on energised circuits.
Built to the relevant live-working standard (DIN EN/IEC 60900) and individually tested at 10,000V, the cutters combine induction-hardened cutting edges with VDE multi-component insulation handles in the recognisable yellow-red colouration for a secure, protected grip. The 160mm length offers a good balance of cutting capacity and control.
