The KNIPEX VDE 180MM Side Cutters (70 06 180) extend the live-working diagonal cutter range to 180mm for applications requiring greater jaw capacity and mechanical advantage when cutting in energised systems. Certified to DIN EN IEC 60900 and individually tested at 10,000V, these cutters meet all international standards for safe operation in live electrical environments up to 1000V AC.
The larger 180mm format is particularly valuable when cutting the heavier conductors encountered in main distribution, three-phase installations, and industrial electrical systems where 160mm cutters may require excessive hand force. The VDE insulated handles provide the required electrical protection without compromising grip ergonomics.
