The KNIPEX PUK® 1000V Junior Hacksaw (98 90) is a compact insulated hacksaw certified for use in live electrical environments up to 1000V AC. Tested and certified to DIN EN IEC 60900, the PUK® provides the cutting capability of a hacksaw for metal conduit, cable armouring, and miscellaneous cutting tasks in energised systems while maintaining the dielectric safety required for live-working compliance.
The junior format makes the PUK® compact enough for routine carry in a live-working kit, and the insulated handle and blade frame ensure no exposed conductive surfaces exist that could provide a path to live conductors. The standard hacksaw blade fits the PUK® frame, allowing blade replacement with standard available consumables.
