Description

The AD940J is a 2-pole, 40A RCBO with a B-type tripping curve, 6kA breaking capacity at 240V AC, and 30mA Type A residual current sensitivity. The 40A rating is appropriate for high-current single-phase circuits supplying electric vehicle chargers, storage heaters, or sub-main distribution feeders.
Type A classification enables detection of both sinusoidal AC and pulsating DC residual fault currents. The 2-pole format provides simultaneous phase and neutral disconnection on fault detection. Screw terminals accept conductors up to 16mm² (flexible) and 25mm² (rigid).
Occupying 2 DIN rail modules and rated IP2X, the AD940J is RoHS compliant and rated for 2,000 electrical and 2,000 mechanical operations. Suitable for high-current residential and commercial circuit protection.
