The DCG405FN-XJ is a DEWALT 18V XR brushless 125mm angle grinder with FLEXVOLT ADVANTAGE technology — when used with a FLEXVOLT battery, the tool automatically boosts to higher power output, providing corded-equivalent performance while maintaining compatibility with standard 18V XR batteries for regular grinding tasks.
The brushless motor delivers electronic clutch protection that reduces kickback in the event of a sudden disc stall — a critical safety feature for angle grinder use. The electronic brake stops the disc rapidly when the trigger is released. The three-position side handle enables left and right-hand operation. Slide switch for one-handed activation.
