Description

The DCH172D2-GB is a DEWALT 18V XR brushless 18mm SDS-Plus rotary hammer supplied with two 2Ah batteries and a charger. The DCH172 is the lightest and most compact SDS-Plus rotary hammer in the DEWALT 18V XR range — delivering 1.7J of impact energy in a format small enough to use comfortably in confined ceiling spaces, between joists, and in restricted wall cavities where larger hammers cannot fit.
Three operating modes: hammer drilling, rotation only, and chiselling. The brushless motor provides improved efficiency and extended tool life. The compact, lightweight format significantly reduces operator fatigue during sustained overhead drilling. Compatible with all SDS-Plus bits and chisels.
Supplied with 2×DCB183 2Ah batteries, DCB119 charger, and kitbag. Suitable for electricians, plumbers, and HVAC engineers who drill frequently in ceiling voids and confined spaces and require the smallest possible SDS-Plus rotary hammer.
