The DT5026-QZ is a DEWALT EXTREME 6mm–12mm impact-rated titanium step drill bit with a 1/4-inch hex shank. The step drill enables clean, burr-free holes of multiple diameters in thin metal sheet, using a single bit instead of several individual drill bits. The steps progress from 6mm to 12mm, covering standard hole diameters for cable grommets, conduit entries, and electrical knockout applications.
The titanium coating reduces friction and dissipates heat during cutting, extending bit life in thin metal sheet. The IMPACT READY hex shank is engineered to handle the high torque of impact drivers without tip or shank damage. A no-walk point starts drilling accurately without centre-punching, even on curved or painted metal surfaces.
