The DT7508-QZ is a DEWALT shockproof impact adaptor converting a 1/2-inch square drive socket to a 1/4-inch hex output, enabling standard 1/4-inch hex screwdriver bits to be used in 1/2-inch impact wrenches. This adaptor is commonly used to extend the capability of large cordless impact wrenches to screwdriving applications without switching tools.
The shockproof chromium-molybdenum steel construction absorbs the high-torque impacts of 1/2-inch impact wrenches, preventing premature failure at the hex output end. A hardened core provides extra strength and durability in demanding fastening applications.
