The DT8937-QZ is a DEWALT 12mm x 460mm (400mm working length) SDS-Plus XLR full head carbide drill bit, the longest standard configuration in the 12mm SDS-Plus XLR range. The 460mm overall length and 400mm working length are required for through-wall drilling in thick reinforced concrete structures and for very long anchor installations.
The XLR four-cutter carbide tip, four-flute spiral, and IRON BLAST TECHNOLOGY are engineered to maintain performance and structural integrity at this extended length. The tapered core is specifically designed to resist the elevated flute-break risk associated with extra-long drill bits.
Compatible with all SDS-Plus rotary hammer drills. Suitable for through-wall drilling in thick concrete, extra-long anchor applications, and deep fixing holes in structural masonry.
