The DWP849X-GB is a DEWALT 1250W variable speed rotary polisher for professional paint correction, polishing, and cutting of automotive paint, painted surfaces, and similar coatings. The variable speed control from 0–600 RPM enables optimisation for cutting compounds, light polishing, and finishing polish applications — providing the full range of professional paint detailing operations from a single machine.
The soft-start system prevents throw-off of polishing pads and compounds at start-up. Electronic constant speed control maintains consistent pad speed under polishing pressure for reproducible results. The ergonomic side handle provides two-handed control. Compatible with standard 180mm and 150mm polishing pads via the 5/8-inch thread.
