Description

The EE883 is a hyper-frequency (microwave) circulation sensor with a 360° detection angle, rated IP54 for use in damp or humid environments. Unlike PIR sensors, hyper-frequency technology detects movement through non-metallic materials and is unaffected by temperature variations, making it highly reliable in challenging conditions such as toilets, stairwells, and covered outdoor areas.
With a wall-mounted design, the EE883 provides a circular detection zone and is particularly suited to corridors, common areas, and locations where PIR sensors may produce false negatives due to slow movement or obstructions. The IP54 rating allows installation in areas exposed to splashing water.
The device operates on 230V AC and is finished in white. It automatically controls lighting loads based on detected movement, with adjustable sensitivity and operating time. It is RoHS compliant and compatible with the EEK006 protection basket accessory.
