Description

The ESC227 is a 25A modular contactor with a mixed contact configuration of one normally open and one normally closed pole (1NO+1NC), controlled by a 230V AC 50Hz coil. This configuration allows simultaneous switching of two independent circuits in opposite states, making it useful for interlocking applications or complementary load control.
Fitting into a single DIN rail module, the ESC227 is compact and space-efficient in distribution boards. The 25A rating handles typical lighting and heating loads, and the 1NO+1NC arrangement makes it suitable for scenarios such as reversing lighting scenes or control interlocking in building management.
Rated for 60,000 operations and RoHS compliant, the ESC227 forms part of Hager’s modular ESC contactor range and can be controlled by time switches, presence detectors, or other 230V AC control devices.
