Description

The ESC240S is a silent (hum-free) version of the ESC240 modular contactor, rated at 40A with two normally open poles and a 230V AC control coil. The silent operation design eliminates the audible hum produced by conventional AC contactors, making it particularly suitable for noise-sensitive environments such as offices, hospitals, schools, and residential installations.
At 40A, this contactor handles large lighting circuits, electric heating zones, and other high-power loads. It occupies 3 DIN rail modules and is intended for installation in commercial and residential distribution boards where both switching reliability and quiet operation are required.
The ESC240S is RoHS compliant and is part of Hager’s modular silent contactor offering. It is compatible with the same control accessories as the standard ESC240, including time switches, dimmers, and BMS controllers.
