Description

The ESC442 is a 63A, 4-pole modular contactor with four normally closed poles (4NC) and a 230V AC control coil. This fail-safe configuration keeps all four poles energised when the coil is de-energised, making it appropriate for high-current three-phase applications requiring normally energised circuits.
The 63A per pole rating handles very large three-phase loads, and the NC configuration is suited to applications such as emergency backup power control or systems where unintended disconnection must be avoided. The device occupies 3 DIN rail modules.
RoHS compliant, the ESC442 is designed for 230V AC control and integrates into Hager’s modular ESC contactor range. It is compatible with standard control accessories and DIN rail installation in commercial and industrial distribution boards.
