Description

The HMB180 is a single-pole, 80A MCB with a B-type tripping curve and a 15kA short-circuit breaking capacity at 230V AC. The high breaking capacity makes it suitable for use on commercial and industrial distribution systems where fault levels are elevated, such as sub-main distribution boards close to the supply transformer.
Occupying 1.5 DIN rail modules, the HMB180 provides a compact footprint for an 80A device, and accepts flexible conductors up to 50mm² and rigid conductors up to 70mm². The B-type tripping characteristic suits resistive and lightly inductive loads where high inrush currents are not expected.
Rated IP20, RoHS compliant, and designed for an operating temperature range of -25°C to +70°C, the HMB180 supports auxiliary contact and shunt trip accessories and is rated for 4,000 electrical and 20,000 mechanical operations.
