The Legrand 035043 is a heavy-duty industrial plastic enclosure rated IP55 and IK08, designed for housing electrical and electronic components in industrial and commercial environments where protection against dust and water jets is required. Manufactured from self-extinguishing grey RAL7035 polypropylene, the enclosure measures 265×174×154mm and features an opaque cover with two quarter-turn locking latches for quick, tool-free access. The large internal depth of 154mm accommodates substantial wiring and component assemblies, making it well suited for complex panel builds.

Fixing flexibility is a key feature of the 035043: equipment can be mounted on a DIN rail or a full-size mounting plate (sold separately), and the enclosure can be wall-mounted via four oblong slots in the base or using optional wall-mounting brackets. The hinged cover opens to 180° for easy access during installation and maintenance.
