Description

The Legrand Plexo³ 601983 is a large-capacity, three-row, 36-module surface-mounted weatherproof enclosure rated IP65 and IK09. Built from self-extinguishing reinforced polystyrene with resistance to incandescent wire at 650°C, it is suitable for demanding outdoor, agricultural, photovoltaic, and light industrial installations requiring substantial circuit protection capacity. Measuring 622×340×161 mm, it accommodates a full range of modular switchgear and protection devices across three DIN rails, with PE and N terminal blocks and pole fillers supplied as standard.

The enclosure offers a reversible door and body, a lockable door handle, tamper-evident cover and faceplate, and a two-position DIN rail supporting both modular products and moulded cases. Direct perforation entry glands are supplied to simplify cable entry. Compliant with EN 60439-3 and Class II rated, the 601983 is an excellent solution for larger sub-distribution boards in garages, outbuildings, farm buildings, and other outdoor or semi-exposed environments.
