Description

The ABB ML1-100G is a green pilot light designed for use with ABB’s M1 and M2 series modular pushbutton and operator component systems, rated at 100 V for direct connection to 100 V AC control circuits. This pilot light provides a clear visual indication of operational status, with the green colour convention universally used to indicate that a system, machine, or circuit is in a running, active, or safe condition. It mounts in the standard 22 mm aperture used by ABB’s M1 and M2 operator components, enabling its integration into existing panel designs without modification.

The ML1-100G is designed to comply with IEC 60947-5-1 for pilot devices and uses a low-energy lamp or LED light source to illuminate the green lens when power is applied to the 100 V control circuit. Its modular design is compatible with ABB’s M1/M2 actuator and contact block system, enabling it to be combined with pushbuttons, selector switches, and contact blocks within the same panel cut-out arrangement. The compact housing minimises the panel space required while delivering clear visual indication from normal operating distances.

This pilot light is widely used in motor control panels, machine operator interfaces, process plant control consoles, and industrial distribution boards where green run indication, power-on confirmation, or safe-state signalling is required at 100 V control circuit voltage. Panel builders and machine manufacturers will find the ML1-100G a reliable and compatible component within ABB’s M1/M2 operator system, contributing to a professional and clearly visible operator interface. Available in multiple colours within the ML1 range, it supports the design of consistent and standards-compliant colour-coded indication systems.
