Description

The MZ201 is an auxiliary contact accessory for Hager MCBs, providing one change-over contact (1C+1O — one normally closed and one normally open) rated at 6A and 240V AC. It clips onto the side of a compatible MCB and provides an independent signal indicating whether the MCB main contact is open or closed, enabling remote status monitoring.
The auxiliary contact is used in building management systems, alarm panels, and SCADA applications where real-time circuit status indication is required. When the MCB is tripped or manually switched off, the MZ201 changes contact state, triggering the monitoring system.
The MZ201 is compatible with Hager’s MU, HMB, HMC, and other compatible MCB ranges. It occupies approximately 0.5 DIN rail modules when fitted alongside an MCB and can be used alongside other accessories including the MZ202 alarm contact or MZ203 shunt trip.
