SFBS550GY is a Click Definity Complete screwless wiring accessory from Scolmore’s Click Litehouse range: an unswitched 13A fused connection unit with a knockout for an optional flex outlet, for permanently wiring in a fixed appliance. The unit is finished with a brushed stainless steel cover plate and a grey insert, and, part of the Click Definity Complete range, ships as a single ready-to-fit code that already pairs the correct plate with the correct insert.

Like the rest of the Definity Complete family, the cover plate is push-fit and fully screwless, so no fixing screws are visible once it is installed — the plate simply clips onto the mounting lugs of the insert for a flush, seamless finish. This also means the plate and insert can be handled as one unit on site: the electrician fits the back box and wiring first, and the finished plate goes on as a final step, reducing the chance of paint or plaster damage to the visible finish during the rest of the build.

It is intended to be wired as a spur from a ring or radial final circuit, with the internal fuse (typically rated up to 13A, sized to the flex and appliance) protecting the flex to the connected appliance. It is backed by Scolmore’s 20-year guarantee against faults in materials or manufacture.
