The Click Definity Complete 5A round pin socket is a single, unswitched round-pin outlet designed for dedicated lamp and lighting circuits rather than general 13A appliance use. Round-pin sockets are typically wired to a switched lighting circuit so that table and floor lamps can be controlled from a wall switch, a popular solution in living rooms, hotels and hospitality settings where centrally switched lamps are wanted.

Rated at 5A, it uses the distinctive round-pin configuration that keeps these lighting outlets separate from standard 13A power sockets, preventing everyday appliances from being plugged into a switched lighting circuit.
