The VPSB052BK is a 13A switched fused connection unit (fused spur) with a front flex outlet and a neon indicator, finished in satin brass with a black insert. It is used to take a fused, switched connection from a ring or radial circuit to a fixed appliance – such as a heater, boiler or extractor – with the appliance flex emerging neatly through the front of the plate.
The integral fuse carrier protects the spurred appliance at the correct rating, the switch allows local isolation, and the neon shows when the unit is live. Built on the Deco raised stainless steel plate in brushed satin brass and approved to BS 1363, it carries the 10-year guarantee and requires a 25 mm minimum back-box depth.
