Description

The VPSB586BK is a twin-gang 13A switched socket with integrated USB-A and USB-C charging outputs, presented with the squared Ingot rockers and finished in satin brass with a black insert. It combines two standard switched 13A outlets with a pair of USB ports (one Type-A, one Type-C), so phones, tablets and other devices can be charged directly without occupying a mains socket or needing a separate plug.
The inclusion of USB-C makes it well suited to modern devices that charge over the newer connector. Built on the Deco raised stainless steel plate in brushed satin brass and approved to BS 1363 for its mains outlets, it carries the 10-year guarantee. Because of the on-board charging electronics it is deeper than a plain socket, so a 25 mm or deeper back box should be used.
