6943X 25mm² SWA (Steel Wire Armoured) cable is a 3-core power and control cable manufactured to BS 5467, BS EN 60502-1, and BS EN 60332-1-2, BASEC approved. It features Class 2 stranded plain copper conductors to BS EN 60228, XLPE insulation, PVC bedding (armour thickness ~1.6mm), galvanised steel wire armour for mechanical protection, and a black PVC outer sheath. Core identification: brown, black, and grey. Voltage rating is 600/1000V, with a fixed temperature rating of -15°C to +90°C (installation not recommended below 0°C). Overall cable diameter is approximately 25.2–26.7mm, weighing around 1715kg/km, and suits a 32mm gland (CW/BW32S) with a No.10 cable cleat. Suitable for auxiliary control, mains power distribution, and industrial applications in indoor, outdoor, and underground settings, including direct burial, cable ducting, tray, basket, or free air installation, and can be embedded in concrete.
